Testimonials
I have been a client of Gilmore’s Sound Advice for more than a decade. During that time Gilmore’s Sound Advice has installed several high end systems in my homes. The installers were always careful and conscious of my home environment. Management consistently brought a remarkable level of problem solving skills and thoughtful, advanced component configuration. The results were a seamless integration of control, sound and image to maximize enjoyment of the audio/video experience. In addition to offering the world’s finest audio and video brands Gilmore’s Sound Advice provided creativity, design and service with a level of professionalism that was nonpareil earning accolades from the industry and this grateful, very satisfied client.
We felt like the GSA team were our advocates throughout the project, often helping us troubleshoot pros and cons of different systems and options. The GSA team is organized, transparent, dedicated and effective. Most importantly, they stayed on budget and any cost overruns were as a result of mutually agreed upon changes. As my wife and I built our new house during the height of inflation and supply chain issues, GSA’s ability to stay on budget is something I will not forget anytime soon. Their service and support post-installation has been phenomenal. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone considering a large-scale A/V project for their home!
Gilmore has done work in my apartments in New York and Boston for the past ten years, mostly in our Fifth Avenue residence. Most recently, Gilmore designed, installed and optimized a very complex system in a large 15 room apartment comprising almost a full floor of our building. The project included assessment of the status of pre-existing wiring and equipment, their removal and replacement, and installation of a comprehensive AV system, lighting control, and network with security systems….He has an excellent staff, all of whom I have gotten to know well over the years. While he has grown as a company, he has a great team that is dedicated and thoughtful. I do not have any criticisms. I give him and his company the highest recommendation possible.
